The following table describes the phonetic symbols used in
Visharad Transcriptor together with examples. The first column
contains the phonetic symbols;and the second column contains t
examples. The letters in the examples, which are pronounced
the way the phonetic symbols represent, have been made bold
and underlined. As an example, phonetic symbol d is pronounced
like th of this; therefore the word this is mentioned as the
example for d and th of this is bold and underlined as in
this. There are some sounds, which are usually not pronounced
by native English speakers. No English words have been given
for those as examples. Rather, the pronunciation of these have
been explained in other means as you can see in the table.
